Melinda joins the team with a wealth of experience spanning multiple industries and a proven track record in strategic business development and human resources management.
Melinda’s career is distinguished by her dynamic approach, having successfully led both National Business Development roles and Human Resources roles, where she excelled as a People and Culture and Talent Acquisition Specialist for a prominent tech scale-up and an HR Consultant for SMEs. Her expertise in guiding organisations through structural change and business transformations adds exceptional value to First National Real Estate’s support team capabilities.
In her new role, Melinda will oversee all facets of HR, from recruitment and development to offboarding, with a mission to optimise processes, strengthen team dynamics, and reinforce a supportive, growth-oriented work culture. As a qualified mediator and Mental Health First Aider, she brings invaluable skills that support a psychologically safe and thriving workplace. Her dedication to empowerment and leadership aligns directly with First National’s new strategic vision and commitment to delivering exceptional support to its members.
Melinda will work in close partnership with the network’s new CEO, David Edwards, to uphold human-centred leadership principles that prioritise positive relationships, trust, and team empowerment. She will play an instrumental role in ensuring that the National Support Office is best positioned to support real estate agents across Australia with the highest level of expertise and care.
