Industry’s first mental wellbeing App to be released

First National Real Estate has announced that in addition to its ‘2020 Business Blitz’ COVID-19 member support initiative, it will fund attendance of the RISE X virtual conference for all members and staff who register nationally – potentially as many as 3,000 agents.

Brainchild of First National Byron Bay principal, Chris Hanley OAM, 2019’s inaugural RISE conference represented an industry response to the Christchurch Massacre. Many hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised to support the recovery of victims.

2020’s conference – RISE X – will be held in a virtual format on 6 October and will see all delegates issued with REALcare – an App built by agents, for agents, to manage their mental health.

REALcare provides direct access to medical experts, advice about mental health, notifications that help manage stress, finances, budgets, mindfulness and breathing, plus multiple private methods to set up programs for better managing life.

‘An App that helps agents manage the demands of real estate and their impacts on mental health is long overdue and couldn’t be more relevant in the COVID-19 business environment’ said First National Real Estate chief executive, Ray Ellis.

‘With all attendees of RISE X set to receive the App, plus an outstanding line-up of speakers, our Board of Directors saw this as an unmissable opportunity to strengthen First National’s support of its property managers, salespeople, administrators and principals. I encourage all agents throughout Australia to attend this important event.’

Delegates of the 3-hour virtual conference will see presentations from former Treasurer, Tim Costello, former Victorian Premier, Jeff Kennett AC and TV presenter Jessica Rowe. There will also be sales and property management sessions, plus for principals after the main event – interviews with Australia’s real estate business leaders.

Chris Hanley OAM has also endorsed First National Real Estate’s commitment.

‘I am very proud that First National Real Estate will be the first network in Australia to get behind RISE X by funding every agent that wishes to attend’ said Mr Hanley.
