More than 150 First National sales agents and property managers from Vanuatu, Victoria, Tasmania and New Zealand aimed to propel their real estate careers to superstar status by completing the Lee Woodward “Complete Salesperson” course at Crown Casino in Melbourne this week.

Aimed at salespeople and property management business development managers, the two-day First National Real Estate event provided an extraordinary interactive learning experience ideal for all levels of experience, from rookies to well-experienced agents.

“Lee Woodward has such a uniquely simple way of outlining the processes that lead to success” said 2017 national Sales Rookie of the Year, Jake Spargo from First National Bonnici & Associates (Wodonga,Vic).

“When you are new to real estate, I don’t think anybody could provide you with a clearer picture of what to do, how to go about it, and how to keep doing it consistently so you can avoid the highs and lows that lead to so many salespeople crashing out of the industry in their first 12 months.”

The Complete Salesperson Course is typically seen as a career kick-starter in the industry, given that it condenses 30 years of Lee Woodward’s experience into a simple model that drives opportunity by defining the whole real estate process from start to finish. Yet, successful business owners also came away from the event saying how refreshed and re-energised they felt.

“Everybody can benefit from an alternative perspective, no matter how long they’ve been in this industry” said First National’s Victoria Chairman and principal of First National Bonnici & Associates (Wodonga,Vic), William Bonnici.

“I’ll certainly be taking a fresh look at several areas in which I believe my business can improve or at least be streamlined, but more importantly, I’m delighted to see how engaged and excited our members are about improving their careers, which is of course of direct benefit to the network’s customers.”

First National also hosted The Complete Salesperson Course in Sydney in February, attracting more than 180 agents from New South Wales and Queensland. The not-for-profit cooperative facilitated both events with an 85% subsidy for attendees.

First National Real Estate has 400 offices across Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia, making it Australia’s third largest real estate brand and the nation’s largest group of independent agents. It has been awarded Canstar Blue’s 2017/18 ‘Most Satisfied Customers’ award, for a second consecutive year, and is the only brand to have received 5-star ratings from Australian consumers in its research.
