Leadership and innovation is what Australia and the state of Tasmania is crying out for, according to First National Real Estate Burnie principal, Deanne Lamprey.

First National Real Estate today launched its third consecutive year of sponsorship of the ‘Leadership & Innovation’ category of the Tasmanian Young Achievers Awards in Burnie.

‘The purpose of the Southern Cross Young Achiever Awards is to acknowledge, encourage and, most importantly, to promote the positive achievements of young Tasmanians up to 28 years of age’ said Ms Lamprey.

The Awards recognise the achievements of Tasmania’s youth in 8 categories, with one of the category winners being named the Southern Cross / Premier’s Young Achiever of the Year.

‘The network’s members are committed to supporting young people of Tasmania who look at how to change things for the better. Our sponsorship has already seen two fine Tasmanians recognised for their substantial contributions to our community’ said Ms Lamprey.

‘Leadership and innovation is what First National Real Estate is all about, as evidenced by our leading Tasmanian offices in Hobart, Burnie and Deloraine, all of whom have won industry awards at national level. This shows many a larger mainland based real estate agency just what Tasmanians are capable of.

‘By supporting a commitment to strong leadership and the ability to imagine more creative solutions to today’s challenges, young Tasmanians define not just where Tasmania is heading, but who Australia will be in the 21st century’.

First National Real Estate is now calling for Tasmanian nominations for the Leadership and Innovation category of the awards. To nominate someone, visit the Awards Australia website and select Tasmania – www.awardsaustralia.com
