After just a three-month absence from the commercial centre of Western Sydney, Australia’s leading cooperative brand has returned to Parramatta, with what its new operator believes will deliver a unique competitive edge to local property services.
New owner, Keshava Prati will offer an immigration advisory service to people moving to Australia, helping them understand the government processes as well as the smoothest path towards renting or buying their first home.
Mr Prati’s experience and extensive knowledge of the real estate, technology and mining industries will underpin his new brand in Parramatta, promoting its growth and success.
‘Multicultural Parramatta has a buzzing commercial area, offers lifestyle, employment and has a thriving arts and culture scene,’ said First National Real Estate Parramatta City director, Mr Keshava Prati.
‘Plus, its geographically central location makes it the perfect place to settle, find employment and put down roots in a new country. The ABC’s recent announcement that it will relocate 300 Ultimo staff to Parramatta is yet another sign of Western Sydney’s economic trajectory.’
With a diverse range of business interests, Mr Prati says he considered it vital to find a real estate brand that would provide immediate recognition, a fast-track pathway to the right products and services, and a fee model that didn’t penalise his growth.
‘I have ambitious growth plans and First National Real Estate is the only brand that doesn’t charge a fee on property management income, won’t charge me more as my turnover grows, and any branches I open beyond my second office attract no fees at all.
‘That’s an exceptionally competitive fee model that makes Australia’s franchise brands look inflexible and expensive.’ said Mr Prati.
Network chief executive, Ray Ellis, travelled to Sydney to attend the official opening of First National Real Estate Parramatta City last Friday. He said Mr Prati was another example of the acceleration of interest in First National membership.
‘First National Real Estate represents the best partnership choice a real estate agent can make to take their business forward,’ said Mr Ellis.
‘Firstly, we consider our agents “members”, not “franchise owners”, we offer Australia’s leading technologies at prices that only a not-for-profit administration can deliver, and we’re genuinely committed to the delivery of the tools that agents need to grow their business and nothing that they don’t.’
