Sport provides a perfect opportunity to teach children about attitude, behaviour and leadership so First National Real Estate has renewed its sponsorship of Perth Wildcats for a third consecutive year, says First National Real Estate WA Chairman, Lynda Briggs.
Though one of Western Australia’s most widespread real estate networks, First National Real Estate intends to deliver Perth Wildcats Basketball Clinics in local communities and give away free tickets to games at the Perth Arena.
‘The Perth Wildcats are incredibly popular with kids and, through our sponsorship, we’re able to arrange local Basketball Clinics throughout the state that really have a positive impact on their development’ said Ms Briggs.
Over the past two years, the network’s local community Basketball Clinics have given hundreds of Western Australian children a chance to interact with players and the Wildcats’ head coach, Trevor Gleeson.
‘It’s just incredible to see the reaction on kids’ faces when they meet their sporting heroes and spend a morning or afternoon with them, learning by their example’ said Ms Briggs.
