First National Real Estate’s South Australian and Northern Territory members were presented with their General Excellence and Marketing (GEM) Awards at a ‘Glitz & Glam’ themed dinner at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.
The gala evening celebrated the best of the State’s and Territory’s real estate performances over the past year, which according to First National Real Estate SA & NT Chairman, David Nitschke, required the profession to maintain its focus on digital marketing strategies and their increasing role in real estate marketing.
“First National Real Estate has seen 62 per cent growth in new, first time customers and more than a 350 per cent increase in traffic through its national website over the past 12 months” David Nitschke said.
“Our network has worked and trained hard to maintain a leading edge in digital marketing and, combined with traditional approaches to the marketing, management and sale of property, the results have been impressive.
“The General Excellence and Marketing (GEM) Awards are a recognition of that hard work and teamwork, and it is encouraging to see such strong performances coming from South Australia and the Northern Territory.”
On the night, Sales Office of the Year was awarded to First National Real Estate O’Donoghues of Darwin and the Top 10 sales offices included:

A range of specialist awards were also announced, with Sales Rookie of the Year being awarded to Bindi Johnston from First National Real Estate O’Donoghues, and, Property Manager of the Year being awarded to Lisa Leonardis from First National Real Estate Riggall. Other specialist awards included:

David Nitschke said the First National GEM Awards are an important event as they present an opportunity for the network’s members to celebrate achievements, while encouraging their colleagues to aspire to an ongoing process of performance improvement that benefits customers.
