First National Real Estate, Australia’s largest independent real estate network is bringing over 350 real estate agents to Darwin for its annual convention in two weeks.

The network says its first convention in Darwin since 2003 gathers together members from Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea to hear from international keynote speakers, as well as all about the latest technologies the network is launching.
‘We’re very excited about bringing our membership to the epicentre of Australia’s northern gateway’ said chief executive, Ray Ellis.
‘We have one of First National’s most advanced offices in First National O’Donoghues where principal Jeremy O’Donoghue and his team continue to break Northern Territory records in commercial and residential sales, last year achieving one of Darwin’s highest residential sales for $5.4 million’.
During its convention, First National will announce the next phase of a strategy that has seen the network gain industry recognition and praise for its roll out two groundbreaking advances in the last 12 months.
‘Last year, First National gave its agents the technology to make them the most effective users of social media in Australian real estate’ said Mr Ellis.
‘This year, we’ve won accolades for backing that up with the launch of a new national website that zeroes in on exactly what consumers are looking for; the answers to their questions about every stage of life’s real estate journey’.
First National Real Estate is the first network in Australia offer information that helps consumers understand their options when renting, buying, relocating, investing, upsizing, downsizing, separating and retiring.

Keynote speakers at the national convention will include Californian tech entrepreneur and ‘Internet Anthropologist’, Jim Marks, and communication expert, Chris Helder.
